Sobre este áudio
Ember Manchester hoped that keeping her boss - and one time lover, Rylan - at arm's length would make her life easier. But as the weeks go by, she finds out that's simply not the case; Rylan's asking her to help him work more cases, he's always coming into her office to chat, and worse - he's getting involved in her love life. Ember's been avoiding men since her last night with Rylan, where she found out that he used to work for the hacker Seth Mathews, a man devoted to crippling the government. It's not until she meets Stan that she changes her mind about seeing other men. Stan's the opposite of Rylan: geeky, awkward with girls, and unsure of himself. And, he has no idea what her job is really like. In other words, he's just what Ember needs to stay out of trouble. Her life is going great until she's contacted by the United States military and tasked with a crucial job that she can't refuse. She's asked to keep an eye on Rylan, who may still be working with Seth Mathews. Ember feels guilty spying on Rylan, but she knows that she's the only one capable of finding out what Rylan is really up to. When her contact in the military asks her to infiltrate Rylan's apartment and find a stolen prototype, Ember's life is turned upside down. She's torn between a man she's surprised to find she still has feelings for and doing what's right. Meanwhile, Ember's relationship with Stan is deepening, further complicating the matter. But as she's about to find out, not everyone is what they seem, and her life may very well be in danger....
