Sinopse
In Isaiah chapter 53 verse 3 Jesus our Lord is described as despised and rejected, a man of sorrow and acquainted with grief. In Matthew chapter 14 the Bible says that when Jesus heard what happened - as in what happened to John the Baptist (was beheaded) he withdrew privately to a solitary place.
Finally in Hebrews chapter 4, we are told that therefore since we have such a great high priest - talking about Jesus - whom has gone through the heavens Jesus the son of God let us hold firmly to the faith we profess for we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathise with our weaknesses we have one has been tempted in every way just as we are yet was without sin.
I have used these three Scriptures just to make us to understand that no matter the amount of grief we are going through Jesus has suffered something similar and because of that he sympathises with us and he is able to help us.
When anybody is going through grief either loss of a loved one, loss of a job, loss of a husband or loss of a wife; we tend to feel as though no one understands and no one is able to help us but that's not true
In reality Jesus understands and all the people who have been through similar situations as you or are currently going through it also understand. I'm saying this because we need to come to a place where we realise there is help at hand.
Paul too reminded the Church of Thessalonians that they should not grief like the world because when a believer dies, the scripture makes us to understand that they simply fall asleep in Christ. We know that sooner or later we will see them again and we will rejoice together when we meet them in Christ.
The following Scriptures will help you to further understand how to grief and I hope that they also encourage and strengthen you through this difficult time in your life. God bless you.
