Alice and the Magic Marker is a family-friendly short story and mystery that culminates on Christmas Day. It explores parent-child relationship themes like rules, responsibility, and routine. It also contemplates creativity, curiosity, growing up, and patience, as well as the inevitable temptation to break rules and sneak and cover up to avoid getting caught.
Most importantly, it invites us to consider our spiritual relationship with God through his redemptive providence.
