Sobre este áudio
ANGELS WE HAVE HEARD ON HIGH was written to provide churches with a powerful yet simple Candlelight Christmas Eve Program. The Kindle version is priced at 99 cents to give people an affordable review of the program. If you decide to go with this program for your Christmas Eve service, please purchase the paperback version so that you can make copies to hand out to your program participants.
The presentation features ten readers representing Biblical characters and angels: Abrham, Jacob, the Angel Who Appeared to Balaam, the Angel Gabriel, Zechariah, Mary, Joseph, the Head Angel who appeared to the shepherds, the Head Shepherd, and the Revelation Angel. Each reading contains key scripture passages focused on the birth of Christ. Traditional carols are suggested to be sung between each reading. The presentation ends with a beautiful candle lighting ceremony and the singing of Silent Night, Holy Night.
Ideally, you would need a reader for each part. The pastor would welcome the congregation at the beginning and give the benediction at the end. However, the ten parts could be read by two readers, a male and a female. Players could represent the characters as the parts are being read by the two readers. Backgrounds could be created or provided through slides. The program director has creative leeway to put on the most effective presentation utilizing your church’s facilities. The director may substitute carols or songs for the ones suggested and alter the presentation according to his or her creative vision.
Again, the Kindle version is priced at 99 cents for your review. Copies should not be made from the Kindle version. Permission is granted from the copyright holder (Joe C. Ellis) for purchaser to make twenty copies from the paperback version to hand out to the readers and others involved in the presentation. All scripture readings from this book are taken from the New International Version of the Bible.
Two bonus Christmas presentations are included in this book:
The Christmas Promises and A 1940s Christmas
