Lhasa apso dogs were very famous in ancient China and could only be owned by Buddhist monks and royalty. Lhasa apso were also believed to bring good luck and spiritual well-being to their owners, as well as being superb watch dogs.
Annie Pooh and MarLee were already very famous in Tsunn Province where they lived. The two Lhasa apso dogs, in an earlier fairy tale, help rescue a wrongfully imprisoned prince. In this tale, Annie Pooh and MarLee, in an exciting adventure help discover "Fireworks" Sangee, the monkey, who plays tricks on Annie Pooh and MarLee, and the two dogs chase Sangee everywhere. In addition, the story of how "Fireworks" was discovered, in ancient China, is the fairy tale found in this audiobook.
