Sinopse
Widowed ex-cop, Kate Southerland, belongs to a family whose motto is Do right, let the rules be damned! After a lifesaving call for help, Kate is flown to Lummi Island during violent storms, both natural and familial. The woman who rescued Kate as a child needs help. Kate is asked to take over directorship of the Southerland family’s remote three-hundred-acre estate until controversial issues are resolved. The property surrounds a Lodge that’s a bucket list destination for birdwatchers wanting to experience record breaking birds of prey. Sabotaged reservations, vandalized vehicles, international thieves, and an increasing body count keep Kate’s days full while a rugged blue-eyed islander focuses on her nights.
