This book focuses on the negative impacts of disinformation. Arguing that disinformation is far more pervasive than currently believed, and the negative effects of disinformation are so great that it causes people of all types to delusionally believe they are supporting helpful initiatives when in fact they are creating widespread harm that prevents society and lives from improving.

Individuals and organizations frequently manipulate the masses into believing false narratives about the current state of reality and the intricate mechanisms of life as they strategically aim to influence us to allocate resources to them. This is done under the guise of false promises, suggesting that in exchange for our resources, they will benefit our lives and create a ripple effect of positive change for the broader community. The primary beneficiaries of these efforts are the organizations acquiring resources and their leaders, employees, and investors, while those external to these organizations do not experience improvements, leading society and individuals to suffer negative consequences.
