Kathryn Tucker Windham tells tales of her hometown of Thomasville, Alabama, from the time before WWII. Her Southern accent is REAL - soft, melodious, and easy on the ear. These stories, which some may call quaint, are those of life in most any small town, with its everyday cast of characters and events, and will strike a chord with those who have experienced this lifestyle.
