Sobre este áudio
He is perfect just the way he is.
Happy Within is one of those children's books about diversity that not only multicultural families will enjoy having on their bookshelf but also every parent who wants their children to learn kindness, acceptance, and self-love.
In this book, the main character is a boy, who will help kids to learn how to be happy with themselves and within their own skin.
This multi-racial children's book invites us to celebrate diversity, language, race, and culture, finding beauty in everyone, no matter where in the world they are from, whatever the race, the background, etc.
This book for kids not only teaches them to support one another to be the best they can be but also to be proud of who they are and of their uniqueness. It shows that growing in diversity and kindness to oneself is what makes the world a better place.
This little book teaches that happiness is not dependent on others and starts with loving yourself. Only through self-love and believing in oneself it is possible to be happy within.
Diversity books for toddlers and older children are especially important, as this is the time when kids start to recognize ethnic differences and when they can learn about the richness of diversity and multiculturalism. The best children's books are those that you enjoy with your parents, and talk about once finished. Happy Within invites children to ask, talk, and think about happiness and its roots.
This book is ideal for children between the ages of two to six, but it is not only a book for Black children. The multicultural aspect features a variety of characters from various cultures, which not only help boys to identify with them, but also their friends or siblings can be positively impacted by the book.
The bilingual versions of this book are to help children/parents learn another language together. Spanish, Italian, French, German, Portuguese, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, Turkish, Greek, Japanese, Arabic, Yoruba, and Swahili editions have been published and additional bilingual versions to follow. Teaching kids that they are beautiful at a young age is so important that I wanted to publish the book in various languages as it is an important message for all kids around the world.
