Sobre este áudio
Heart to Heart: Considered Sentiments for Teatime is a collection of verses not only suitable for teatime, but it is a book of sensibilities that are suitable for a lifetime. Just as special blends of tea contain delicious subtleties of taste, this book contains intriguing subtleties of insight and wisdom. Earlene Grey writes of everyday life, sometimes lifting it to the spiritual, and sometimes grounding it to the practical.
Earlene Grey has been a devotee of a fine cup of tea for nearly sixty years and from that devotion came a lifestyle and from that lifestyle came her tea poetry. Her work, unique and easy to understand, reflects both the spiritual and saucy elements of human nature.
This is a unique and interesting book of poetry that is comprised of easy and uplifting reading. It is filled with subtleties of insight, humor and wisdom. On the surface one might think that they are not connected. But if one considers and ponders a moment, the nuances of the message will come through. In addition, each listener may discover his or her own personal message. And, after all, isn't that the point of poetry?
Equipped with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Masters degree in Business Administration, Earlene followed the path of a hectic business career before arriving at her first book, Musings With a Cuppa: The Poetry of Tea. She is presenting her second book of tea verses in Heart to Heart: Considered Sentiments for Teatime. These days Earlene appreciates the quiet life in Oregon with her husband, James, and four cats.
