Sobre este áudio
The audiobook you are about to listen to is no ordinary audiobook. Not only does it tell the story of a nation changed, and countless souls brought into the Kingdom of God, but the book itself has also changed thousands of souls.
I daresay it is impossible for any person with a genuine heart for God to listen to this book and not be utterly shaken by the life of Hudson Taylor. I myself wept more as I read this book than I have in any other for quite some time.
There is something about the honesty of Mr. Taylor, something about the sincerity of faith and purity of heart. He was a man who gave everything, literally. He left dear children buried in the land he dedicated his life to. He lived in constant pressure, constant persecution, and abandonment from friends and allies, and at the start it shook him. He became so discouraged in the early years that he nearly doubted his own salvation and his own call.
And yet, God proved himself over and over again, until Hudson Taylor’s great “secret” was finally illuminated to him through the greatest revelation of his life. A revelation that he will share with you here in this volume.
This book was written and compiled by Hudson Taylor’s son, Frederick Taylor, along with his wife Geraldine. They gathered never-before-published letters from Hudson and his wife Maria, as well as several accounts and testimonies from other witnesses to their lives. These are some of the most powerful writings in modern church history, and show the inner life of one of the greatest missionaries since the apostles.
