Sinopse
Repudiate the Normalization of Bullying
The Oxford Advanced Learner's dictionary defines a bully as someone who "frightens or hurts a weaker person". The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a bully as "someone who frightens, hurts, or threatens smaller or weaker people”. Another dictionary defines bully as someone who “seeks to harm, intimidate, or coerce another person who is perceived as vulnerable” or gullible. The impact of bullying is felt in a community setting when children are too afraid to go to school or too afraid to play outside due to their fear of bullies. Let us not forget the impact it has on a young lady who desires to sight-see her community but too afraid of venturing out due to her fear of being bullied and mugged. Cases where a nonsmoker is subjected to secondhand smoke, on purpose, as a threat of annoyance and bullying, which sadly has led to some nonsmokers being diagnosed with lung cancer.
This book offers encouragement to all those who at one point in their life suffered from the tyranny of bullies. What can you do to help mitigate this global problem? Repudiate the normalization of bullying. IN THE UNIVERSE OF BULLIES, IS SILENCE REALLY, REALLY GOLDEN?
There is no doubt that when a given society is plagued with bullies, human existence in such a given society is usually threatened or under threat until....
