Making disciples one-on-one is very powerful. You get to impart and teach Christians everything the Lord has commanded you. What a great advantage this is for new believers.
Making disciples one-on-one is very demanding, but it is the most glorious thing you can do for the king of kings. It requires time, energy, and sacrifice, but it will be richly rewarded.
Making disciples one-on-one is the Lord’s command to all Christians and is a stark rebuke of the megachurch model. True church life is not found in church attenders but in genuine disciples of Christ. It is much better to have 10,000 Christians teaching thousands of others than one man teaching 10,000 Christians.
This book is broken up into two parts. The first section—chapters one to seven—gives the basics of one-on-one discipleship. The second section—chapters eight to 11—provides some important spiritual disciplines you can teach any Christian disciple.
