Sinopse
For those of us familiar with Western legends, the name Merlin is immediately recognizable from the King Arthur stories. Yet, how much do we know about Merlin's life before he met Arthur? We assume he is just a powerful and wise man, but when we peer into his childhood, we see something much more fascinating.
Merlin is born of the sea and is composed of stone. He is part of the earth, in touch with all creation, and yet feels a yearning to know what it is like to be human. His birth into our world requires nothing less than the invention of magic itself.
This story is purely fantastical and not based on any known legends. Amazing and preposterous events occur that are not connected in any fashion with Arthur. It recounts Merlin's first adventure, in which he encounters a snow fox and must learn how to use the power of gems to battle a mysterious figure who controls the snow fox.
