Make sure wherever you choose, it is free and clear from distractions. This will include any TV, computer, or other screen. Ensure that nobody else is around who might be talking or distracting you. You can do these meditations with other people so long as they are participating, as well, and are not going to be a source of distraction. Make sure that you do not do these meditations while you're driving or operating any sort of vehicle. If you do, then you might end up falling asleep, and that can be rather dangerous. And be sure wherever you are for these meditations, you give yourself the chance to be able to fall asleep if that should happen.
