Sobre este áudio
Off My Chest is a poetry book that focuses on the importance of emotions and experiences. This book will appeal to those who have gone through hardships and those who may feel jaded or feel that what is happening to them is inexpressible, only to end up being misunderstood. Those who divulge deeply in thoughts and feelings, those wishing to have someone to share with, those who know the uselessness of hate and the power of intolerance for it.
Knowing our progress comes through experiences as the collective human race, which are very diverse, and both hateful and loving. Yet when there is a massed sea of voices raging throughout the world, often feeling listened to and not drowned out is difficult. Therefore, an outlet and coping mechanism - arguably, a form of therapy - is needed. That is what I present to you in the form of this manuscript.
This is raw vulnerability about experiences gone through both in an effort to bring a self-release and to inspire others to share and communicate all their feelings and sufferings. To acknowledge there are times of anger, bitterness, and envy, ad infinitum. However, these feelings need to be worked through and not shamed, so as not to feel wrong for experiencing negativity. Remember that there is love, kindness, and wholesomeness ad infinitum still capable of being experienced, even through heartbreak, betrayal, selfishness, insecurity, fear, or any other obstacle. Let us cope together while not knowing the full impact of our actions and our decisions, while shaping ourselves and our lives.
