Ryan Stively has had a successful life: A wonderful career and two wonderful daughters. Now in middle age, Ryan has another shot at love. Erin is everything he could have wished for. And she comes with a package; her eight-year-old son, Andrew.
Shortly upon his nuptials, Ryan considers adopting Andrew. He would be the son he never had, the son he had always longed for. Having been adopted himself, Ryan knows how important a father can be in a boy's life.
