Sobre este áudio
This is a story of hope.
In this emotionally vulnerable audiobook, Marci Brockmann was raised by an undiagnosed bipolar mom, who was also narcissistic and, for most of her life, a prescription drug addict. Digging deeply into her heart and memory, Marci reveals, how growing up under the strain of mental abuse caused her to create a toxic relationship template and an equally toxic self-image which influenced almost all of her subsequent personal relationships. She didn’t know how to do anything different. Like many people, she made repeated mistakes, endured many failed relationships and an emotionally painful first marriage, but she was determined to stop the inter-generationality of it all to protect her children and be an exceptional mother. After years of anguish over the effects of her mother’s opiate addiction and mental illnesses, Marci learned to embrace her own power and took control of her life. She began her soul-searching journey toward herself to build a life filled with the love, home, and belonging she always craved. She learned that by living her truth, she would always be free!
With empathy and transparency, Marci tells a story that is at once typical and burdened by toxicity. She discovered her resilience and who she is through soul searching, therapy, and creative expression to prove how amazing life and love can truly be when you give yourself permission to land.
Join her on this lifetime adventure.
This story is for you.
