it doesn't fit this collection

Me at 50%: This reads a prequel to another book, doesn't it?
Me at 90%: This totally reads as a prequel to another book.
Me at 100%: This is definitely a spec chapter repurposed because he was going to miss the deadline for this collection and sent this instead. It bearly fits the theme and it's such a shift in tone from the other stories... It's well written, but its place is not in here.
