Sinopse
Happy Holiday has a new life, a new job, and a new look. The US Marshals Service is hiding her in a small town in the Allegheny Mountains of Western Maryland. Peter Etchers, a cantankerous deputy marshal, is protecting her from those who want her dead, but she misses her former life as a Baltimore bicycle messenger and all her old friends. She doesn’t miss Romero Sanchez, the notorious gang kingpin. She rues the day she accidentally crashed her bike into his car.
Happy is slowly adjusting. Her job plowing snow from dangerous mountain roads provides the thrills she craves. And Maryland State Trooper Jimmy Bittinger is now a friend. Life is getting better.
