Sinopse
Denver Homicide Detective Nick Teffinger has made mistakes before, lots of them, but never as bad as this one. This time he’s put a witness in harm’s way by inadvertently disclosing her identity to the killer she saw. She’s protected herself as much as she could by abandoning her life in Denver and running away, all the way to Paris in fact, where she’s taken an alias identity and settled into an unassuming life. That worked for awhile. It’s not working anymore. And everything's about to go wrong.
Jagger says: Back in my early 20s, I spent a couple of weeks in Paris in the middle of a bicycle trip, which was pure magic. Later, when I became an author, I knew I had to set at least one book there. This is it. I hope it captures some of the beauty and mystery of the city for you.
Praise for R.J. Jagger:
“[This book] is creative and captivating. It features bold characters, witty dialogue, exotic locations, and non-stop action. The pacing is spot-on, a solid combination of intrigue, suspense, and eroticism. A first-rate thriller, this book is damnably hard to put down. It’s a tremendous read.” (Foreword Reviews)
“This fast-paced book offers fans of commercial fiction a twisty, action-packed thrill ride.” (Library Journal)
