Sobre este áudio
About the Author: Janet Linton lives in the UK with her daughter Esme. She is a registered counsellor for the BACP. She works full-time at a sanction school, while also being self-employed and sub-contracted to Murray Hall Community Trust, where her counselling journey began on placement, while studying at City of Wolverhampton College.
Janet works across four platforms alongside companies, Better Help, Online Therapy, Psychology Today and the BACP. She has graduated twice, with both a level five diploma and Bachelor’s degree, and is currently studying for her master's degree at the University of Wolverhampton.
A true story of child abuse (survival & hope).
When Janet Linton was six years old, seen but not heard for several years of sexual abuse, she suffered and her family disowned her from the age of 13 after until today. She is now 34, living with the family secret for 21 years on why she left home at a young age?
Curious yet? Then don't wait and start listening. I will see you in the first chapter!
Don’t suffer in silence - find your closure too!
Inside, you'll learn how:
- to raise awareness of the signs that children are silently screaming in your world
- to encourage and empower others (or you?) who’ve suffered similar experiences
- to implore you to listen, speak up and take action
- moving forward is possible
WARNING: This is not just a book about overcoming childhood trauma. My story explores the damage done to the psyche of a child who was abused by the adults who should have cared for her. It will reveal the moments that shaped my behaviour as a young person, the effects that those moments had on my relationships with friends and family, and the consequences I live with to this day, as an adult.
