Sobre este áudio
It is the summer of 1990, and Bobbie Lamont has graduated from Tulane University, believing that her relationship with Lawrence Harris, her English professor, would enter a new phase. Instead, just moments after receiving her diploma, he broke up with her. Bobbie decides to spend some time in Birmingham, Alabama, with her aunt Gina before she moves to New York City, where a new job and an apartment are waiting for her. She meets Miller Hoffman, a 17-year-old, bright, but troubled young man, three days before the Fourth of July, and her life changes. It is love at first sight for them both. Despite the five-year age difference, Miller's mother's objections, and Bobbie's aunt's concerns, the love between Miller and Bobbie cannot be denied or stopped.
