As a long-time advocate of the power of words to shape our reality, Dean feels his role as a poet is to mainly get out of his own way and allow the words to flow through him from his higher self or source. Dean Fraser says, "I love these poems; they were written with love and to share the message of universal love to all. Plant-based eating and living lightly are central to my own life philosophy. This is definitely my most personal poetry collection to date, here we have quite literally my life's work or I suppose more accurately it encompasses the story of my journey of personal growth at the point of penning these poems and creating the music album using the poetry as my lyrics."
