Sinopse
Eric A. Shelman was born in Fort Worth, Texas, so he's not sure how much more American someone can be. He grew up in the '60s, with memories of community parades, men and women on horseback carrying flags of his home state of Texas and the United States, and all the riders proudly wearing red, white, and blue. Patriotic music played in the background while onlookers ate hot dogs and cotton candy while cheering on the participants.
He didn't always understand the importance of a love of country, but he did love it. When he got old enough to understand, and as he moved through life enjoying the freedoms our forefathers opened up to us through their tremendous efforts and undying determination, he saw something sad: People were forgetting. Tenets of the Constitution were being trampled on, and only a handful of people seemed to notice or to even care.
Previously, Eric picked up a copy of the Declaration of Independence and narrated it. In order to put this audiobook out there for people to enjoy, he needed to create a companion Kindle version that would pair on Amazon's system with the audiobook. Listen and read along. It's worth a few minutes of your time. Make some hot chocolate for the kids, grab a Coke or a beer for yourself, and sit back and listen. Thanks, and enjoy.
