Sobre este áudio
Not all who are called monsters are.
Both Edward and Aluara carry curses from the Sunless Kingdoms, and worse yet, they are both in love with one another. The two cursed lovers flee on a quest to reach the island of Akon, a place legend says the cursed can walk free of their infernal tormenters. But before that can happen, Edward must find refuge before the rising of the full moon brings forth the demon wolf that lies dormant within him.
With no choice, they must seek sanctuary at the farm of Edwards's old friend, Duncan McAfree, the man responsible for Edward becoming cursed in the first place. Yet even this place isn’t safe, as Aluara’s abusive ex-husband, Prince Misha Yulian, Necromancy, and Litch lord of the kingdom of Nerezza, risks war with the nations of light as he blitzkriegs his armies across the lands in search of his escaped wife, determined to see his vengeance against Edward satisfied in blood and his lost wife returned to his side with or without her consent on the matter.
Matters worsen when their passage across the sunlit lands is discovered and legends of an ancient prophecy and an even older trap surrounding the infamous Fort Ridecker, the place where the battle against the dread lords, who once nearly ended the world was said to have been ended, come to light as both the lovers and Duncan's entire family must battle with Prince Yulian's army of nightmares if any of them are ever going to see the light of day again.
The Wolf Comes Home is a story about epic love, abusive exes, consent, the price of vengeance, and the simple fact that "not all whom we call monsters are".
