For Maryanna Gabriel, the unexpected death of her artistic mother would change everything. She needed answers, not from others, but from herself. Leaving her forest home on Salt Spring Island, in Western Canada, she travels to Europe on a life-altering solo trek of 800 kilometers from France to Santiago, in Spain.
