Fear is often the greatest villain we have. It holds us back from achieving what we want in life, whether it's weight loss, getting healthier, or something else. We fear success—we fear failure. So we do nothing instead, because it's so much easier.
I'll admit, I agree. However, what's the point of living if you don't do something that scares the living life out of you? You have to take a chance on yourself. If you don't, who will? You only have one life, my dear listener. Why spend it running through fad diets and health trends that fail and fall one after the other? Instead, focus on a balanced life where your metabolism takes care of the rest. I want you to be happy and fulfilled in your life. That means in your skin and more, inside and out.
I want to be open and clear with you from the very start. Besides, what would we be without trust and transparency? I have never had a weight problem per se. Although, I've had my fair share of unhealthy ticks and periods, for sure. I'll never forget the first time I ordered three takeouts in a single day. I was feeling down and craving everything unhealthy. So, I indulged. The worst part was that it was from the same place, and with my luck, of course, it was the same delivery driver each time. I felt horrible and ashamed, especially since the delivery guy gave me a stare that still haunts my nightmares. But I'll save you the terror and tears. It’s also safe and correct to assume that I gained a lot more than self-esteem issues the next day.
Apart from these occasional slips, I've always been into health. I strive to become the best version of myself by living a balanced life that makes me feel good and healthy. Even so, I've seen countless individuals struggle with their weight, metabolism, and health. This is my motivation and passion behind writing this book: I want to help you finally hone your life and live it as freely and happily as possible. I promise I know what I'm talking about and that I will guide you every single step and slice of the way. We're in this together. So with that out of our way, why don’t we look at the elephant in the room.
