Recorded 24 February 2022. Caroline Markel Hammond is the Founder and CEO of the organization Safe In Harm's Way, which helps connect people who are victims/survivors of toxic or abusive relationships to the resources they need to escape. 

Caroline discusses her own personal journey as a survivor, what led her to found this organization, and what plans she has going forward for it. 

Safe In Harm's Way has won 4 National Purple Ribbon Awards in 2022, including awards for Outstanding National Organization, Outstanding Awareness Plan, Best COVID-19 Response Plan, and a Survivor of the Year award for Caroline herself.
