When G came into the residential program, he was spinning his wheels. For a long time he tried in his own strength to please God. Ever patient, the Lord continually wooed G to Himself. But as a soul continually heeds temptation’s voice, it becomes increasingly corrupted: crossing lines that once seemed too far away and growing attracted to things that once seemed repulsive. This is called the Spiral of Degradation. This dark path always leads to ruin. Yet through the power of God and His gift of repentance, that journey can be reversed.
