  • The late 1980s saw videogame media making its first steps into the realm of film and television and usually the results were, at best, ill conceived. Like this show featuring former wrestler Lou Albano as Mario in live action segments interspersed between an animated cartoon. Various celebrities of the time guest star but the show is perhaps best remembered for its pseudo-rap opening theme set to the original theme of the game!
