Why do the righteous suffer? This is an age-long dilemma. The human soul agitates over it. Man's wisdom endeavors to solve it. But God alone has the right answer. In this volume, Watchman Nee opens up the subject of the spirit of wisdom and revelation by explaining Paul's famous prayer (Eph. 1:17) . It is necessary, he says, to have the spirit of wisdom and revelation if we are to know God at all.
