Alura

When a distress signal from the colonial transport ship Burnside pulls the crew of the Alura out of lightspeed, Cooper Montbarts sees a chance for a quick salvage grab on the lifeless vessel. Cooper soon finds out nothing is as easy as it seems. Other ships appear in the void, intent on taking what the crew of the Alura had rightfully claimed as their own. Soon, Cooper and his group find themselves trapped on the Burnside and hunted by the mysterious killer that slaughtered the original crew. 

The crew of Alura docks at the Cosmo, the gambling and entertainment Mecca of the entire galaxy. But the stopover becomes deadly when Cooper and his crew find themselves trapped between two moguls vying for control of the station. Separated from the others, Cooper must join with the Cosmo's marshal, who is fighting his own battle against the corruption rampant among his ranks. With time running out, Cooper makes a gamble to save his crew and topple the power struggle.
