Beacon Hill

In series two of Beacon Hill, Barton Prescott finds himself in trouble with the roughnecks he took bets from during the American Marathon. Unable to pay what he owes, his life becomes endangered. Meanwhile, Marietta falls in love with an actor, and must keep their romance a secret for fear of causing an uproar at home, which seems inevitable when Jocelyn demands to meet the young man.

A house filled with shadows and secrets. The epic drama of the Prescott Family continues. Series three finds Marietta Prescott living in Philadelphia as Burt Colton continues to appear on stage, but is putting off the wedding. With no money and an aggressive landlord, things begin to look very bad for her as she finds herself doubting Burt's sincerity. Back in Boston, Gilbert Hull begins a campaign to have the "Wayward Home" moved from Beacon Hill, causing Jocelyn and Augusta Prescott to join forces and draw the battle line.

Now is the winter of their discontent. It is Christmas, 1898, and Prescott House on Beacon Hill is ready to receive the visitors from England, which includes their son Andrew and his wife Jessica, Lord and Lady Burden, and their son, Trevor. Aurora Prescott leaves for New York, recovering from a recent tragedy, and Robert has a final confrontation with Miss Logan. Charles Prescott is now the President of a new Railroad company - however he soon discovers that while his financial empire is building at an extraordinary rate, his family is falling apart.
