Tara has always loved gymnastics, and joining Silverdale Gymnastics Club has been a dream come true. But with the summer holidays at an end, and Tara starting secondary school, trying to juggle her schoolwork, her friendships, and her gymnastics training is proving tricky. When Tara says she can't go to her best friend's birthday sleepover because of her training, her best friend is badly hurt. With an important competition looming, and her friends giving her the cold shoulder, can Tara find a balance between the two most important things in her life?

Gym-mad Tara still can't believe she's part of the Silverdale Gymnastics Club - and that she's through to the National Acrobatics Gymnastics competition! But Tara would much rather be practising her backflips and learning new balances than doing maths questions or history essays, and her homework is starting to pile up. When her teachers notice her schoolwork sliding, Tara is caught between school and gym. Will Tara be able to finish all her work on time and win the gold?
