West to Bravo

One man finds himself torn between two cultures in this sweeping tale of frontier life in post–Civil War era Texas. In the years following the American War Between the States, the once vacated military presence in west Texas is on the rise to protect the waves of settlers moving into the region. Living peaceably with the Mescalero Apache, half-breed former military scout Holton Lang promotes the tentative harmony between the US cavalry and the Native American population.

The adventure continues from West to Bravo. When a wagon train of homesteaders is massacred by outlaws, a young male survivor is determined to rescue his stolen siblings. Dragged from his now peaceful existence, former military scout Holton Lang invests himself in the search for the stolen captives as well as the difficult task of keeping the young man alive. As the search continues across three states, Holton comes across old friends and finds new meaning in life as his job of survival embraces a newfound kinship.

Returning to Arizona, Holton Lang is once again riding the path of a solitary existence. Or is he…? Fighting a nest of squatters on the ranch, and reconnecting with Bear and a welcomed visitor, he is tempted to put down his roots for good. With the unexpected appearance of his Indian-sniffing dog, Holton is once again pulled to the trail of adventure, hoping to come to the aid of his young friend, Jules, and a band of Texas Rangers, before it is too late....

The adventures continue for Holton Lang and Jules... Heading for the mountains, Holton, Jules and their young traveling companion come to the aid of a homesteader in North Texas. As they become invested in the struggle to keep the ranch out of the hands of the incoming railroad, priorities are shifted and new familial bonds are created. Expansion into the Western frontier cannot be stopped, but maybe the railroad can be deterred from leaving them in its tracks.
