Sobre este áudio
Detective Casey Ryken has navigated many difficult cases in the troubled town of Havensburg. With a dropping clearance rate and crime on the rise, officials with the police department begin collaboration with a scientist to resurrect victims of violent crimes to help solve their own murders. For Casey, this radical approach is filled with ethical dilemmas, especially after the unresolved murder of his own daughter.
Returning victims are called Revivants and their first case involves a young girl. She starts appearing in Casey’s dreams, and the lines between reality and the supernatural blur. As he dives deeper into the case, the girl’s haunting presence pushes him to the brink of sanity, leading his colleagues and family to question his mental stability.
The media catches wind of the controversial program. Reporters swarm the precinct, asking questions and demanding information about the program. Sensationalized headlines paint Casey and his team as both heroes and villains, thrusting them into the harsh spotlight of public scrutiny. As the stakes rise, so does the interference—threats, misinformation, and personal attacks aimed at disrupting their investigation and dismantling their personal lives.
Torn between his duty as a detective and his ethical dilemmas, Casey must confront the past to bring justice to the present, even if it means unraveling his own mind in the process. Can he solve the murder while holding onto his own sanity, or will the Resurgent Justice Initiative Program destroy him?
