Sobre este áudio
This book aims to provide the general listener and the martial arts enthusiast with a practical approach and understanding of the development of a personal protection system.
Self-defense on the streets is a contrast when compared to the way one thinks, trains, and acts within the confines of a training hall. Self-defense is not so much about technique as it is about seconds! Both in how one will react or diffuse a situation without the need for violence!
We are talking about survival, not show or sport. I also provide a basic technical guideline into some practical techniques that don't take a lifetime to learn and perfect regardless of size or strength.
A great way to stay fit and, ultimately, something you can rely on should the need arise. Providing something of use to you that you can further explore and develop on your own is my aim and something I believe is worth sharing.
The classical method embodies a certain etiquette, mutual respect, rules, and philosophy. Esthetically beautiful in practice, perfection in form and body mechanics and movement! It is an excellent introduction to learning various intricate techniques and exercises. However, their views and mindset in training can be detrimental to your survival on the streets.
The differential factors are mindset and environment. If the attributes are the same, why are the outcomes different?
How one trains and intensity affect how practitioners from the same or different styles perceive the same problem.
