Dr. Ming Wang's journey from the Cultural Revolution in China to becoming a renowned ophthalmologist in the United States is a testament to his resilience and determination. Despite the odds stacked against him, he managed to overcome the challenges of the college entrance exams and pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. He faced racial discrimination during his academic journey, but used it as motivation to work even harder. Dr. Wang's dedication to his studies and his ability to efficiently manage his time allowed him to excel in his education and training. He trained at top institutions such as Harvard, MIT, and Johns Hopkins, and eventually established his own practice. His faith and commitment to helping others led him to develop innovative treatments, such as the amniotic membrane contact lens, which has restored eyesight for millions of patients worldwide.
