  • Episode 93: Tax Season Is Upon Us
    Jan 29 2025

Join Jonathan I. Shenkman, President and Chief Investment Officer of ParkBridge Wealth Management this week as he discusses a variety of timely investing and financial planning topics, including:

    1. Talking points: Jacob’s Blessings To His Children & Three Important Financial Lessons

    2. This week’s quote is from Milton Friedman

    3. I read your article in the Jewish press about buying your wife new clothes and jewelry for Yom Tov, and I couldn’t disagree with you more! America runs on taking out debt! How can you assert that debt is a bad thing and should be avoided when it is necessary and accepted in American society?

    4. My CD matured and it was paying just north of 5%? I see rates are much lower now. What should I do with this cash that’s safe?

    5. With the market continuously going up, is this the top of the market and should I plan accordingly?

    6. There is the phrases “dress to impress” but my question is, in your experience, do you usually see wealthy people dressed in designer clothing? I’d like to fit in since my target market for my products are rich people.

    7. My financial advisor says he does estate planning. If that’s the case, is it necessary for me to also go to a lawyer to make relevant documents or am I covered?

    8. Timely & Actionable Idea: Consolidation

  • Episode 91: IN FOCUS: Post-Election: The New World of Estate Planning
    Jan 15 2025

Join Jonathan I. Shenkman, President & CIO of ParkBridge Wealth Management, as he goes “IN FOCUS” to explore more advanced wealth planning topics.

Today, we will go IN FOCUS where we cover more advanced wealth planning topics.

In this week’s episode, we are joined by Today, we are joined by Marty Shenkman of Shenkman Law based in New York, who spoke on the topic of "Post-Election: The New World of Estate Planning.”

This episode will cover what people should be doing with respect to estate planning with a new President in the White House. Will the 2026 reduction in the exemption happen and if so what planning should be done (hint – much of the planning done is less than optimal). But planning only for 2026 misses a critical aspect of estate planning and may leave your plan lacking (hint – we live in the most litigious society and that is not changing). What other issues should be considered: Corporate Transparency Act filings, Buy Sell Agreement updates, failure to address Powell issues, and more!
