    2. Quote from Dwight Eisenhower

    4. Pros and cons of having guaranteed income in retirement?

    5. My mom’s husband passed away. I heard she can claim her social security on his benefit? Does this make sense?

    7. I made 5% on my cash this year. My financial advisor said I was up around 6% half way through the year. My question is why would I take risk and invest in stocks and bonds when the return is only 1% or so better than a risk free money market account?

    1. Money Lessons From The Olympics

    2. This week’s quote is from Warren Buffett.

    3. I have a family member who is drowning in credit card debt. Thank god I make a good living and I’d like to help them, but I’d like to do so responsibly. How do I do that?

    4. I filled out a risk tolerance questionnaire with my advisor several years ago and it came out that I was aggressive. But my performance has not been that high even though I took a lot of risk. What do you think my advisor is doing wrong?

    5. I’m renting out a single family home in another state (across the country). I’m seriously debating selling the home and investing it in the market, but how do I calculate where I would get a better return? I don't want to make any rash decisions before determining where I’ll make more money. Is there an analysis you can do to determine the right move?

    6. I put most of my net worth in one investment. I was advised not to. Of course it went down by 70%. My advisor told me I should sell it and move on. What do you recommend?

    7. I handle our personal finances and my spouse has no clue about anything related to this matter. Is that acceptable?

    8. Actionable idea
