His world is turned upside down yet again when he learns that Eve isn't the innocent bystander he thought she was. Not all is as it seems however, leading to a dramatic rescue and escape at the top of Mt. Rushmore.

Stanley is needed because General Hummel has stolen some VX gas warheads and has announced that he will launch them onto San Francisco unless his demands are met. Stanley knows how to disarm the bombs, but he needs someone who knows Alcatraz well enough to get him inside. That man is former British Intelligence Agent John Patrick Mason (Sir Sean Connery), who in 1962, became the only inmate ever to escape from Alcatraz.

On the departure, a young man named Wade (Kevin Bacon) and his friend, Terry (John C Reilly), who do not have rafting experience, enlist the help of Gail who helps them cross a whitewater. They get closer to the Hartmans, who soon learn a dark secret about them. What will they do to get rid of them?

Cameron Poe (Nicolas Cage), is a highly decorated Army Ranger, who comes home to his wife Tricia (Monica Potter), only to run into a few drunken regulars at the bar where she works. He is granted parole, then the mayhem begins when he has to share a prison airplane with some of the country's most dangerous criminals, who take control of the plane and are planning on escaping to a non-extradition country.
