I said Texans 22-32 for this week II Sunday night football game. The Texans won 13-19 & it was a night in which Nico Collins exploded for tons of big plays and plenty of yards receiving. The arrival of Caleb Williams will soon have the Bears in masters classes on a regular basis each season once he has matured in the game of gladiators. Texans improve to 2-0 and Chicago falls to 1-1.

The Jets won on the road in week two after being dismantled in primetime week one by the defending NFC Champs. Can Brissett & the PATS open up a can on the Jets or will Aaron Rodgers become more comfortable in East Rutherford, performing like the Rodgers of olden days?

I fell to 1-1 on Thursday nights as I picked Miami to win 31-33 & of course they lost to Buffalo 31-10. Tua left the game with yet another concussion and now if his career wasn't up in the air with his previous concussion his career is definitely on the shelf now for at least a year, you would hope. Life is always more important than money or any professional sport. Bills improved to 2-10 & the Dolphins look to Skylar Thompson to lead them, but for how long?

The Eagles and Jalen hurts II are home for the first time this season to host Kirk Cousins and the Falcons. Cousins has a bad history vs. Philadelphia on Monday nights. Atlanta seeks it's first win of the season as they dropped their home opener to the Eagles in state rivals from the AFC, Pittsburgh.

Caleb Williams vs. C.J. Stroud, yes please I want to see this Super Bowl in back to back years style with each team winning one. Texans Chiefs championship game sounds exciting so does a Bears Vikings championship game, especially once J.J. McCarthy returns in 2025. The Texans defense is serious but need to rethink position strategy for their secondary. I'd make Jimmie Ward a LB on the outside for blitzing situations only. I'd place a corner back at safety. We'll see if the Texans makes adjustments or keep trucking.

The Broncos are in for a wild ride this year as the defense may be an issue for the first time in a long time, but it's only week II. Jury's still out, rookie Bo Nix will statistically battle veteran Justin Fields as this is a game where Russell Wilson returns to the city that dumped him after a bad contract & only two seasons., the rebirth is on hold though for Wilson as a bad calf & possibly old Mr. Father-time is catching up to him.

Joe Burrow and his Bengals go on the road to face Patrick MaHomes II and the defending Super Bowl champs. Can Burrow put up the numbers needed and have the performance of his life for the first time in almost a year or Chris Jones and his defense put Burrow on the shelf and send the Bengals home with a huge loss to help them drop to 0-2 to start the year?

Matthew Stafford & his Rams are on the road again in week II, this time vs. a tough divisional opponent in Kyler Murray and his Cardinals. Arizona lead the Bills early & relinquished the lead to lose their road opener. Can Stafford and company win on the road this week against a team they swept in the 2023 season?
