My intention before I ever started planning the poems for this collection was for the experience of listening to this book to be healing. I wanted you to feel my own awakenings through these words and for them to speak equally of your own journey and reach you at every level of your being.

It has been hugely entertaining for me taking the time to re-visit my archives finding poetic tales for inclusion. Taken from a period stretching back to 2012 right through up to the year I compiled this book in 2018, I do remember writing every single one of my poems and interestingly for me, my mindset at the time.

A poetic antidote to the sometimes heaviness of living our lives here in this 21st Century. Looking around to find the quirky and often silliness in everyday situations. The poet speaks of travel not going quite according to plan; he shares finding himself unwittingly taking part in a bridal fayre and throughout this collection most of all what comes across most are his frequently hilarious off-the-wall observations of life. Reputed to be Dean Fraser’s final poetry book; if you ever find yourself needing to smile or laugh a little more, this collection was put together for you!

This is a concept poetry album with harmonic music and layered vocals. It all started with me wishing to explore the meaning of life and why we are here on this beautiful planet at this time. To achieve this, I took as a starting point inspiration from music. The intention became producing a book embodying some of the spirit of those paradigm shifting ambient concept albums created by the more esoterically inclined artists and bands over the decades.

The only way to awaken all the dormant magic within is to feel grateful that we have already unlocked it. I adore this apparent paradox - Dean Fraser. Living at peace with all that makes you…well, you! This is home…simply takes a change in point of view. Being happy in your skin, everywhere feels like home. Constantly at home wherever you choose to roam. I see them. Seeking a bluer sky. Those streets seemingly paved with gold. A charmed life looked at from a distance. What about me? I am grateful to waken this morning.
