The storms of life threaten all of us at one time or another, leaving us feeling lost, alone, and without any hope. We all face adversities in the name of relationships, physical and mental health, the pain of loss, work stress, finances, and persecution. Our relationship with Jesus Christ does not always exclude us from all the unpleasant circumstances life sometimes throws our way. But the Bible makes it clear that when we turn our lives over to God and pursue Him wholeheartedly, He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Christian Maloney almost didnt make it into this world. Two miscarriages tried to send him into the Lords arms without him ever seeing his parents. Andrew and Christy Maloney thought they were losing their baby. She would miscarry, and he would die. No! That cant be right, thats not what God would want. Hed raise the child up, stop this bleeding, sew up her womb. They believed in that kind of God. But the baby wasnt making it. They couldn't accept that, not after feeling him kick in there, not after seeing his little face on the ultrasound, not after hearing his heartbeat.
