Islam, one of the Abrahamic faiths, originated in the seventh century, following the first revelation of the Holy Quran from Allah (God) to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He was the last of messengers who brought the final words of Allah to humanity. However, throughout history, there have been negative social constructs that do not honor women’s rights. Such stereotypes created around women stand in direct opposition to the teachings of Allah and His Messengers (peace be upon them).
