Voices: Vol. 2 is the second installment of the Voices series by Black Males in Education St. Louis (BMESTL) in an attempt to project the work, accomplishments, and perspectives of Black male educators. Based on the success of Voices: Vol. 1, there is little doubt that Vol. 2 will not only be a compelling listen, but will also inspire more Black men (and women) to find their authentic voice while encouraging others to enter the field of education.

The Haunted is the story of a boy called Johann. Johann is going through a rough point in his life as he's strolling on the edge of the town near the woodlands. It was there where he discovered a mansion. Maybe, it's not the best idea to enter a large mansions built in the mountains.

Yetu holds the memories for her people - water-dwelling descendants of pregnant African slave women thrown overboard by slave owners - who live idyllic lives in the deep. Their past, too traumatic to be remembered regularly, is forgotten by everyone, save one - the historian. This demanding role has been bestowed on Yetu. Yetu remembers for everyone, and the memories, painful and wonderful, traumatic and terrible and miraculous, are destroying her. And so, she flees to the surface, escaping the memories, the expectations, and the responsibilities.
