This is a story of an Oklahoma family of four visiting their relatives, also a family of four, in Manhattan, New York. A real family adventure, but it is really all about the kids, Ted and Emma, who live in Manhattan and Pete and Annie, twins who visit from Oklahoma. The kids are having great fun. Ted and Emma visit Santa during their mom’s last-minute Christmas shopping, the four children make a wreath and decorating Christmas stockings, a little suspense around the Christmas tree - will there indeed be a Christmas tree, or will they have to forfeit one?

Rex had always known that he was an intelligent dog. He was very proud of the fact that he could count to 100. He could read some words if they were not too long. He was also the very best at fetching the newspaper for his people. He loved his people. Adam and Sally were his two favorites. They played with him every day. They would throw a ball as far as they could, and Rex would run and grab it in his mouth. If he were exceptionally fast, he would catch the ball in the air. Rex was proud of that too. As far as good dogs went, Rex was one of the best.

This is the story of a happy and lively Labrador retriever and two six-year-old children, who are part of a family living in Los Angeles neighborhood. The family consists of Dadda, who runs a business as a veterinary surgeon, Momma, who works in the practice with Dadda and the two children, a boy named Bart and a girl named Amy, who are twins. The Labrador’s name is Cooper. There is also a Nanny, Gabby, who attends to the household and looks after Bart and Amy and prepares their lunch every day. Bart and Amy adore Cooper and love playing Frisbee with him.
