The Pretty Kings became the most notorious drug lords in the United States. This is how their reign begins. Bambi and her sisters in law have it all. They are married to brothers of the highly respected Kennedy family, rich and hopelessly in love. As promised, the Kennedy Kings decide to get out of the drug game, after, a one hundred million dollar meeting with The Russians, whom they never met personally. First, the Kings have to return home from LA. But, while in a casino, something so devastating occurs, which their wives witness via video calling that changes the wives lives forever.

After fleeing from Baltimore to protect his family from the aftermath of killing his best friend, Mason Louisville, Banks Wales believes the first part of his troubles is over. He's deathly wrong. Having arrived on the luxurious Wales Island, it becomes painfully obvious that Bet is changing for the worst. As she dwells on the fact that Harris is imprisoned and that Minnie has gone missing, her mind unravels in a way that shocks her family to the core. Banks finds her mood swings weak and as a result, questions the strength of their marriage.

In the Wales and Louisville clans, love and hate mean the same. When Banks Wales invites his best friend Mason Louisville to dinner, the hope is to smooth out growing tensions that would put them back at odds. Things don’t go as planned. In an effort to stay with her boyfriend, Minnie Wales conspires with Arlyndo Louisville to expose Banks’ goals for the future. After bullets fly, Banks’ primary intention is to get his family safely to the beautiful Wales Island. It soon becomes obvious that this is easier planned than done.

Raised in complete poverty, 14-year-old Banks Wales' world is rocked when his mother is murdered. If not for his best friend Mason, the son of a kingpin, Banks would be alone. One rich, the other poor, the two do their best to stay alive and navigate the murderous streets of Baltimore. There's one problem. Banks' father sees the young king's affluent lifestyle as a reminder that he is lacking as a father and a man. So he makes a vicious move. One that puts his and Banks' life in extreme danger.
