This is an introductory Korean course for three-to-six-year-olds (preschool to first grade). It focuses on key words and phrases that can easily be put to use, such as questions, greetings, answers to questions, numbers, colors, places, and many other basic elements of Korean. Songs, games, and sound effects all work to bring the course to life for younger listeners and repetition is used to provide lots of opportunities to practice and reinforce learning. This is a very good book to understand what makes the Korean-Americans "tick". Particularly insightful are the ways in which Christian Kim, the author, captures general patterns for the Korean-Americans and their successes. This is by far the best introductory book on Korean-Americans in the market and will be very useful for use in classroom settings.
